It is known that the Associated Press (AP) Stylebook has reached their users to warn that the writing styling guide was hit by successful phishing attacks.
The target: “...an old third-party-managed AP Stylebook site that was no longer in use…”
Among the stolen data, which is mainly PII: customer's name, email address, street address, city, state, zip code, phone number. Also User and ID.
The information in regards to the breach, has been made known by the very users affected who have reported in their social media.
The AP Stylebook is a comprehensive reference guide used by journalists and writers to maintain consistent and standardised writing and formatting in news stories and other written content.
